The Home and School Association (HASA) at Our Lady of Hungary School has been an active and important part of the school. The organization is dedicated to promoting and supporting the students, staff, and curriculum of Our Lady of Hungary School.

The goals of the Home and School Association are to provide a means of ongoing and organized communication between parents and staff. The association also offers opportunities for parents to become involved in the education of their children.

Parent Involvement Hours

All parents are required to give their time before the end of the school year to any project that is in direct benefit to the school. Any family that does not comply with this contract will force the school to withhold their child's report card. A conference with the school board is required in order to obtain a withheld report card.

Pre-3 and Pre-4
If your child is in these grades, your are required to complete 7 hours unless there is another sibling attending Our Lady of Hungary in grade K-8. Then the family expected to adhere to the 15 hour rule.

Kindergarten through 8th Grade
If your child is in these grades, you are required to complete 15 hours.

The record of hours worked for a school year will be kept by the Vice President of the Our Lady of Hungary Home & School Association. Families will be advised in December of their total hours to date with a final notice at the end of April, giving the total hours and the amount of money owed.
