Patus, Jim ('63)  - Two kids - two ex-wives.  Life has been a
cycle of obsessions:  Systematics and ecology of fish,
Hungarian language and pre-Hungarian Magyar history,
biostatistics and bio-mathematical models, Zen and martial arts,
and racing.  (I shall exclude wives from future cycles.)  I
currently teach biology, and sometimes math, at Ivy Tech in
Sellersburg, where I also am the unofficial advisor for the
unofficial karate club.  I guess it's a variant of the old adage:
Those who can - do; those who can do things that no one gives
a damn about - teach.

right Harry Price and I cut the rug pretty good.  P.S.  Still

Pellico, Gary   ('64)   -    The notice of my passing was
premature.  I've spent my whole life in school and trying not
get in trouble in church.  Now you want me to come back and
relive it all again? I am glad that there are people like you
who do this for the rest of us slackers.
Here is the edited version of my stats if you're interested:

all of us are, was a principal for 17 years and now I do

Pietrzak, John   ('67)   -   Gee Whiz!!!! This is awesome.
Seeing this brings back some bad memories from my
childhood. I attended OLH but left because I always had the
unique opportunity to crawl under the Sr. Bertha's skin. I
guess she and I didn't look through the same rose colored
glasses. For those of you who don't seem to remember I was
always the first one to try and get everyone to laugh. School
wasn't that important to me and it still wasn't went I graduated
from Riley.
Well, boys and girls....it came back to bite me in the
?%>>>>@". After spending three years in the Army both in the
US and special assignments, I headed to Ball State and
received my degree in Education. I have spent the last 27
years as a teacher, coach, assistant principal and principal
(LeMans Academy, Rockville Jr-Sr High School, Cascade High
School, Franklin Community High School). I opened the first
public charter high school for Decatur Township Schools in
southwest Indy. I made a move to Central office this year and
I'm looking forward to a little quiet time. No more game, etc......
I am re-married to the love of my life-Cindy. We have been
married going on 14 years. I have three grown children from
my previous marriage and they all live the the God foresaken
state of Florida near their mom. My son has blessed us with
our 4 year-old granddaughter who we see many time
throughout the year. I have two grown step-children as well
and we have another granddaugther from them and another
one on the way.
It was great to read about everyone life to date. I hope that I
will be able to rearrange my schedule to attend. I look
forward to seeing some of the old "JOKERS". Those of you
who can remember the corner nightly events near the flag
pole. Many of you didn't want to come around because we
were the wild bunch. We were the kids your parents told you
not to be near.....but did we turn out great. Hello to all by old
cronies....Alan, Limbo, Steve, Mickey, Marty, Kenny???? I
know I missed some.
For those who don't remember me...look at the 62 football
picture. I was always the smallest but the toughest.
