appreciate the many ways I have been blessed. I also help at
Zahoran's (the family funeral home) as a hair stylist.  I am the
volunteer bulletin editor at  Our Lady.  Seems I am a "jack of all
trades and master of none!"  We are looking forward  to
seeing everyone at the reunion

love being a mom.  Tom works for Zimmer in Warsaw.  So far
life has been wonderful, with all the normal ups and downs of
losing a parent and unfortunately a brother.  (I miss you Billy).

Keglovits,  Ron ('61)  -  Riley High Grad then spent one year
at Notre Dame (quit before I flunked out..Go Irish, thank God
for Charlie Weis). Enlisted in the Army in 1967 to avoid being
drafted into the infantry and going to Vietnam. Subsequently
spent 2 tours in Vietnam as an infantryman (smart move Ron).
Eventually got a commission in the Army and ending up
retiring after 24 years of service.  Just couldn't figure out
what I wanted to do when I grew up. The Army was a great
experience..they sent me off for my bachelor and masters
degrees (they thought I was too dumb I guess) and allowed
me to meet my wonderful wife, Liz. Retired from the Army in
1990 in Huntsville, Alabama and currently work for Teledyne
Technologies Corporation, one of the many defense
contractors in Huntsville, doing environmental engineering
for missile defense programs. Keep paying your taxes, we
need the money.  Can we get reservations on "Hoosier
Favorite" anymore? Hope to see all in August.

Kenna, Marlene (Schultz)   ('70)   -    I've been married to
Dale and living in Three Rivers, MI for 32 years. Our daughter
Jennifer is 23 and son Dan is 20. I've been a
bookkeeper/secretary most of that time - except for the years
I was able to be home with the kids while babysitting up to 8
others. We've owned Schultz's Overhead Door Service for 23
years (a part-time endeavor that supplements our "fun"). In
recent years Dale, Dan & I spend that fun time at classic car
shows. Dale has a '71 Mustang, & '64 Falcon convertible; Dan
has a '71 Maverick Grabber; and I have a '68 Camaro SS 396. I
promise to bring pictures. So looking forward to seeing
everyone and sharing the memories (good or bad).  Like
kneeling to measure our skirt length, being at least arms
length apart from the boys, rewriting your homework if it
wasn't neat enough, etc., etc.!!!  Great job to all those who
have worked on this enormous project. See everyone soon -
and we're going to put 400+ people where???

Keresztes, Ernie   ('62)   -   In an effort to regain the fun times
at OLH and my youth, I devoted my life to finding the
"Fountain of Youth."  I studied the ancient eastern cultures
and even traveled as far east as Mishawaka. I finally found
the secret of eternal youth as evidenced by the enclosed
picture of my 55th birthday.  P.S. Bottles of the elixir will be
on sale at the reunion.

Marian High ,graduated and joined the Navy. Retired after
24 years and moved to Florida where I enjoy the life of
leasure. I play golf, drink beer and do and go wherever I
feel like when I get up in the morning. I had some great
times at Our Lady I guess I was the class clown and part of
the gruop that used to hang around at the corner at night
and get in trouble all the time. But I had a blast and loved
those good old days.Really wish I would have come to the
reunion but I've been kidnapped by 6 Hawaiian Tropic
swimsuit models and don't plan on having them send any
ransom demands in the near future. Well enjoy yourselves
and have a good time. Say a little prayer for my dad who
coached the best football team ever in 1963 when the best
athlete to come out of OLH played. I mean Joey Kovach. Any
one  care to hear from me can just drop me a e-mail.

Marian and promptly grew a foot (yes, I now have three
feet).  Then on to Purdue for a business degree and
afterwards got a job as the marketing manager of an
electrical manufacturer near Kokomo.  I still work there
(31 years!).  I met my wife Jan here and we have one son,
Grant, who is 22 and living near here.  My hobbies are
cars, gameshows (did you catch me on Wheel or
Millionaire?) and keeping fit.  A family wedding in
Mishawaka prevents me from attending the dinner but I'll
try to stop by late to see as many of you as I can.  I have
many fond memories of Our Lady and my great school
mates and teachers.  (Sister Bertha, I'm really sorry I said
that about you.)
Koszyk, Erv  ('63)   -     Hello Bulldogs,
My wife and I are sorry we can't attend the reunion. We
will be out of town with my sister and her husband.
I am semi retired. I sat home for a year, but I guess I
wasn't quite ready for that. I went back to work for the
Sisters of Holy Cross on the campus of Saint Mary's
College. My wife, Julie, is a physical therapist for St. Joe
Medical Center. We live just west of South Bend.
We've visited the website, and it was great reading about
old friends. I especially enjoyed the picture of the "62"
championship football team of which I was a member.
That was a special time in all of our lives.
We know you will have a wonderful time at the reunion,
and all our good wishes are with you.
If anyone wishes you can E-mail at
EJKandJLK@C.S.com.

Kovatch, Mark S.   ('69)   -   I graduated from Marian High in
1973. After my freshman year at IUSB, I enlisted in the Navy
Reserves as an Electronics Technician. After active duty, I
completed my undergraduate degree in Business from IUSB
and joined Brown and Williamson Tobacco Corporation as a
Retail Sales Representative in South Bend. In 1979 I married my
high school sweetheart, Jeanette Dance.
Well, the world has gone around many times since then. We are
fortunate to have four great kids. Luke, Vincent, Robin and
Rachel. We have lived in South Bend, Chicago, Louisville,
Philadelphia and finally back to Louisville. The Bluegrass of
Kentucky is home.
I stayed in the Navy Reserves. I was commissioned as an
Officer in the Navy Supply Corps in 1981 and retired after 21
years of service. I stayed with Brown and Williamson too. In
1996 I was appointed an officer of the company and Vice
President of Sales and Trade Marketing. On January 1 of this
year I retired from the merged B&W/RJ Reynolds companies
after 28 years and a lot of great adventures.
I spend fair bit of time these days as a volunteer Board
member for the Louisville Chapter of the American Red Cross
and as a part time Business Consultant in Leadership and
Change Management.
Kowalski, John  ('72) -  Nice job w/the site Glenn!  Hey folks-
JK here...I hope many of you will have the opportunity to attend
the reunion this August!  You have a lot of wonderful folks who
are working very hard to plan a great day of food, fun,
reminiscing, and oh yes, a little imbibing as well!! My hope is
that this gathering could also be used as a scholarship-building
opportunity to give something back to the school and parish
that had given us an (arguably) sound start on our life's
journey...Ok, so we'll need to discount the nun's and their
pointers and yardsticks, Sr Bertha's paddle, Msgr Sabo's
scare-tactic lectures about going blind, Fr Pauquette ('nuff
said- Some are prob still in therapy!) and I'm sure a myriad of
other issues, scandals, and scars we've  (or maybe it's just
me!?) repressed and blotted from memory!  What a different
time it was, and for some of you, a really DISTANT time!! LOL...Do
you even remember attending??  If you'd like to know, I am
married to my wife Donna (a west-sider!) for 23 years this June,
and we call Culver, IN, home. We have a daughter Katie, who is
21 and a junior down at Ball State, and a son Adam, who is 18,
will  graduate from Culver Academy next month, and will be
attending Bowling Green (OH).  I'm a soon-to-be graduate of IN
Wesleyan University (career student I guess!), and currently am
the Safety & Risk Manager for Culver Academy.  I love to bowl,
fish, and golf, and take deep satisfaction in helping those less
fortunate than us.  I hope that our son's move-in day at school
will not conflict with the reunion date, and I hope to see many
of you there!
Koszyk,Karen   ('61)   -    Hi Everyone,  I sure have enjoyed
reading about my old classmates on the web.  My husband and
I are disappointed that we can't attend the reunion.  It would
be so wonderful to see you all.I retired from teaching at Beiger
School in Mishawaka two years ago. (Can't imagine how I ever
had time to work.)  My husband, Bob, and I have been married
for 33 years. Since 1980 we have visited Alaska about twenty
times and have a website showcasing the photography from
some of those adventures. Visit our site  :
wolfmountainphotography.com    if you like nature.
Wow, the memories of OLH that have come charging back.
That fire escape was indeed a blast. Singing in the choir with
Mr. Budinski as the leader was a challenge. I never did have a
voice. We spent many hours practicing cheerleading and arm
wrestling at the flagpole on our lunch break, that is when I
wasn't washing dishes in the convent. Do you remember Sister
M. Sylvia? I actually attended her 50th anniversary as a nun
and flew to Staten Island NY for the festivities.  We reminisced
about OLH too.  Have a fabulous time at the reunion. Bob and I
will be thinking of you.  Karen Koszyk Watson ....Class of 61
