Our Lady of Hungary is now offering an After School Care program for the convenience of the parents and children of the school. Every effort will be made to provide a safe, fun and affordable program.

For only $6.00 a day, your child can attend After School Care and participate in homework time, large group activities, arts and crafts, snack time, and individual / small group activites.

 

The program will run daily in contingence of the school schedule from 2:45 until 6:00. After School Care is open to all Our Lady students from Preschool to 8 th grade.


Fees

  • 1 child = $6.00 per day
  • 2 or more children = $6.00 per day for the first child,
    and each additional child is $5.00 per day
  • Half days = $10.00 per child
  • Vacation Days: $15/day

    *A LATE FEE CHARGE of $15.00 will be charged when the child or children are picked up late.

 

Registration

An annual registration fee of $20.00 for all families who use the After School Care program is due upon registering your child/children. For families signing up mid-school year, the registration fee is due prior to the first day of service. After School Care is not designed to be a drop-in/day-care service and therefore, the registration process must be followed in order for the child to be accommodated.

 

Payment Process/Billing

The Our Lady of Hungary After School Care program is a self-supporting program funded by parental fees for service. Therefore, timely payment will be needed and much appreciated. Your payment will put towards the upcoming days of care. Payment options will be gone over at registration.

 

Drop-In Scheduling

Drop-ins must schedule at 24 hours week ahead of the day of care. This notice is necessary because we may need to schedule additional caregivers due to an influx of children on a particular day. A child can only be added as a drop-in if he or she has been registered and the registration fee has been paid.

* $5.00 convenience for less than 24 hour notice.


Activity Schedule

The schedule of activities may vary according to the discretion of the caregivers, but it is comprised of the following elements:

  • Student sign-in
  • Homework*/quiet/reading time
  • Snack time
  • Group activity outdoors, in gym or in social room
  • Parent/Guardian pick-up and sign out

* Though time is available for the students to do their homework, the caregivers are not responsible to see that all individual homework assignments are completed.

 

Hours of Operation/Location

  • 2:45 until 6:00 on regular school days
  • 11:30 until 6:00 on half days (additional fees apply)
  • 8:00 until 6:00 on Vacation days*
    *subject to change

The After School Care program will be held in the Our Lady Social Room. Outside playtime will be permitted when weather conditions allow, and gym playtime will be permitted when sports practice is not scheduled.
